We came across Sumkali at this years Bliss Fest. We think you’ll enjoy them as much as we did.
Sumkali is a diverse music group made up of members from North and South India and the American Midwest. For over a decade Sumkali has created, collaborated and performed with musicians from India and the USA to create music with a truly global appeal.
“…Sumkali plays fusion that works. Their music is a thrilling meld of Indian classical music, American jazz, and more.” -San Slomovits, Founder of award winning music group Gemini

Drive South brings together two seasoned musicians known most recently as the core of country band Sister Wilene. Vocal duets, featuring tight harmony singing, are the perfect match for Brown’s original American roots music. Drive South…You won’t regret it!
Gopherwood is pleased to present one of our favorite performers, Willy Porter with singing partner Carmen Nickerson, in a special House Concert. Willy Porter is perhaps best known as a down tuned six string wonder, but as a singer and a writer, and as a showman, he merits equal regard…
Hook-laden pop with a kaleidoscopic array of worldly influences, The Ragbirds exhibit a gleeful disregard for contemporary folk-rock convention. The five-piece project is clearly built around the multi-talented Erin Zindle, who is proficient in a variety of stringed instruments.

Hoxeyville is postponed to our traditional weekend in 2021, August 13-15.
We held out hope that within this 60 day window our outlook would be more reassuring—but the inevitable truth is that large scale events and social distancing cannot coexist, and we cannot guarantee the health and safety of our patrons, staff, artists, vendors and volunteers in the face of Covid-19.
All tickets will be honored for 2021. Volunteer shifts remain the same, and all confirmed vending spaces will be held.
Hoxeyville has always been ferociously independent and free from corporate sponsorship. This means most years we break even if we do at all—5-13 truth be told.
You are essential to the livelihood of all musicians and artists you support. YOUR support makes everything possible.
Due to Covid-19, current ticket sales simply do not cover the cost of producing Hoxeyville. We are asking you to hold onto your tickets a little while longer. This offers more time to plan an epic trip to the Northwoods with your family and friends, and grants us more time to learn and implement necessary features to help safeguard the fun—whatever the future brings.
2021 tickets will go on sale this fall. If you cannot attend next year, you are welcome to gift or sell your tickets to family or friends. We encourage you to use our Facebook events page to post tickets available. We will happily transfer orders to the new ticket holders.
If you are interested in donating your tickets to our fund for individuals and families that would truly benefit from a safe and positive weekend musical experience, please contact us. We quietly provide this opportunity to those nominated each year.
We hope you can use this gift of time to make new summer memories with your families—we can’t wait to make more with all of you.
You have one of the best festivals, and I have no doubt everyone will continue to support you next year and in future years to come! I know I will!! Much love ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🕺
Love you all! I applaud you all for making such a hard decision but the correct decision. It’ll just make next years return that much sweeter! Can’t wait 😊
What a difficult decision, and I know how your hearts are torn. It is the right decision, despite how much we will miss our special time in the forest in August. We love you!
